| Cash Flow And Budget Forecasting |
|
The lifeblood of any business is its ability to collect cash and pay bills as well as pay its employees, particularly its owners. Far too often small businesses are profitable, but they do not have enough operating capital to meet their current needs. Consequently, they may be forced to sell out to a stronger competitor or close their doors and put the Company out of business. None of these alternatives are typically what the owners intended when starting the business!! At POTTER & POLLARD, we can assist you to prepare a forecast of your cash requirements whether for a new or ongoing business. We will compile a Business Plan for presentation to a Bank or other potential source of finance. We will also accompany our clients to meetings with Financiers if required. All businesses need to have an idea of future income and costs. This is best tackled by preparing some form of Budget. Depending on your business, this need not be very formal but it is essential that any forecast or budget is continually reviewed and updated. To this end we are able to prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly figures to assist in keeping a watch on future cash flow requirements as well as ensuring that expectations have been met. Please contact us if you would like any further information. |
